Malaysia Accommodation Comfort LevelsAt Malaysia Travel Plan we rate our Malaysia accommodation with comfort levels of 1 through 5. Below you'll find examples and descriptions of this rating system. Our ratings are not official star ratings.In most cases, the Malaysia accommodation mentioned is a comfort level 3. If you would prefer to stay in a comfort level 4, please indicate this on your quote request form and we'll adjust your travel plan accordingly. Comfort Level 1 - Basic Malaysia Accommodation Basic Malaysia accommodation in a hut/tent with limited facilities. This type of Malaysia accommodation is used during treks through the jungle which last several days. Comfort Level 2 - Simple accommodation Simple but reasonably comfortable. Your own room with simple toilet facilities. Homestays, spending the night at the home of a local, and jungle lodges on Borneo are also featured in this level. |

Comfort Level 3 - Comfortable Malaysia Accommodation Resort/ room with bathroom. This is our standard, and most Malaysia accommodation falls into this category. Clean, charming and well-kept Malaysia accommodation, with air conditioning, full of character and in good locations. Most Malaysia accommodation options in this category have a swimming pool. You'll stay in this level during our Time for tea module. Comfort Level 4 - Very Comfortable Malaysia Accommodation Spacious bungalows or rooms with extra attention to interior decorating, additional facilities and a higher level of comfort. The beach resorts on the tropical islands of Lang Tengah and Langkawi are examples of Malaysia accommodation with this rating. |

5. Luxurious accommodation Spacious bungalow or room with large bathroom, swimming pool and additional facilities. These hotels are only offered if they add extra value to your stay, for instance because of their location. We have chosen not to add these hotels to most of our Malaysia accommodation options since they are very large 5 star hotels, usually all-inclusive. However it's possible to upgrade to this level during our Easy Going Malacca and Skyscrapers in Singapore modules. Just ask your travel specialist or make a note of it on your request form. |
